Chanel Sunrise Trip Le Vernis #683 ($28.00) or listed as nail gloss instead of nail polish is actually quite glossy. It is the only nail polish in LA Spring 2016 collection and it is Limited Edition. This post is quite picture heavy so enjoy!
The shade is quite beautiful and unique. It reminds me of dark purple/blue fountain pen ink. Sunset Trip does not have any glitter in it and to be honest it doesn’t need any shimmer. It is perfect as it is.
I would not say this is a purple but it is more towards a cobalt blue mixed with warm purple. Yes, it does remind of the perfect summer blue night sky.
Two coats is enough for opaque coverage. It dries a little longer compared to other red nail polishes from Chanel. It has a jelly like finish.
It is gorgeous and definitely a must have.
