Chanel Vert Obscur (679) Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00/ 0.40 fl. oz.) is a part of Chanel Fall 2015 Collection. With this collection two more nail polishes – Chataigne (Limited Edition) and Ecorce Sanguine (Limited Edition) – are released. All three colors are perfect for fall. They are dark in shade and elegant.
Vert Obscur (Limited Edition) has a blackened green with cool blue undertones. There is no shimmer and the finish is creamy with a gel touch.
Although it is very rich in pigmentation, two coats is needed for the depth of the green to show up.
Here is a swatch of one coat over white. The beautiful teal blue reveals itself in the blackened green.
The final shade is a cool black green. If you are bored of regular black nail polish, this could make you happy.
The consistency is nice and has medium thickness. It is not runny at all. I always use base coat under my nail polishes. I think it improves the appearance and wear time of any nail polish. Vert Obscur did not stain my nails but as all dark colored nail polishes it needs extra care when removing.
Ingredients
All Chanel nail products are 3-free, which is formaldehyde-free, toluene-free and DBP-free.
Vert Obscur does not disappoint. This Limited Edition nail polish is not available at now available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Chanel online.

Hi Linda :) I think they used a very subtle blue undertone to get rid of the yellow touch in green and to provide a coolness to it. That is why I did the swatch on white. It looks wonderful on you!!! Hugs XO
This is what was missing in my life, I need it so much right now Amazing review darling

This is probably the most interesting piece from the collection. Love there is certain clarity in the tones yet it is such a complex shade with three different dark hues.
