I was looking for a setting powder so I decided to try TheBalm Sexy Mama Translucent Powder. TheBalm describes it as anti-shine powder to control oil and to provide a matte non-cakey finish.
It is a very sheer translucent powder. The product by itself does not have coverage yet it works fine as a touch up. I found it very hard to get the powder out of the pan. Tried with the brush and other means. To be honest I was not impressed with the result. I applied it over my BB cream and one time over my Chantecaille foundation for setting. It did not feel like it was very successful.
The packaging looks cute but nothing very exciting. It has a retro feel with the pin up girl design. I don’t mind the cardboard but I am not quite fond of it either. It can open in your bag even though it has a magnet. I would recommend keeping it in your makeup bag rather than throwing it in your purse. Further the cardboard attracts dirt, you cannot wipe it clean. That is why in general I do not prefer products in cardboard boxes.
Sadly, this product did not perform on my skin as I expected.

Ingredients were the main reason why I reached out to this powder. The corn starch and rice starch can absorb the oils. It is talc and paraben free.

Ben de bu üründen memnun kalmadım. Çok kısa bir süre matlaştırdı. Ardından hemen yine yağlı bir görünüm aldı cildim. Başka ürünlerle daha büyük başarıla. elde ettim. Ayrıca pudrası zor sürülüyor dediğin gibi. Ben kılları sert bir fırça ile pudranın dibini görebildim.
