The Eyes of Tom Ford Private Shadows in Tempete Bleue, Smoked Opaline and Burnt Suede

Tom Ford released Eyes of Tom Ford the Holiday 2017 season. There are 30 shades with 5 different finishes of single eye shadows ($36.00/ 0.04 oz).

Ultra suede: Completely matte, no pearl.
Suede: Demi-matte with subtle pearl.
Sateen: Lustrous pearl with a glowing sheen.
Vinyl: Highly pearlized, metallic chrome.
Pailette: Sequined, glittery pearl.

Each single eye shadow is in the classic Tom Ford mirrored compact but there is no application brush. Shadow only.

I received 3 eye shadows. Tempete Bleue in pailette finish, Smoked Opaline in sateen finish and Burnt Suede in suede finish. They all blend well,  highly pigmented and does not crease without the fallout.

Tempete Bleue

This eye shadow will stun you. It’s no surprise it is nearly sold out everywhere. The sequined, glittering pearl finish combined with flickering warm blue, purple color is very unique. From one direction the color looks more purple like below.

From another angle it is a deep mesmerizing blue.

The first time I applied it, I used it dry. The glitter and the blue color did not come out as much as I wanted. There is a trick to get the most blue out of this one. I gently wetted the tip of the brush and then apply the Tempete Bleue. That brought our the rich blue purple glittery hue I wanted.

Smoked Opaline

Smoked Opaline has a sateen texture with lustrous pearl finish with a glowing sheen. It has a beautiful mossy green with delicate shimmer. The dry application is beautiful, highly pigmented with minimum fall off.

Burnt Suede

Burnt Suede is a demi-matte with subtle pearl finish. It has a soft creamy nude with grey undertones. Definitely a everyday color. Easy to apply, no fall out, no creasing!

Ingredients

No parabens or mineral oil. If you are concerned, it has talc and silicone (dimethicone). The formula is soft, pigmented and does not crease even without a primer.
