Tom Ford Nail Lacquer in Indigo Night: Review, Swatches, Ingredients

Tom Ford Spring 2015 collection comes with beautiful eye duos, mascaras and of course with limited edition nail lacquers. One of those beautiful nail polishes is Indigo Night #34.

Indigo Night has exquisite microshimmers in a deep dark midnight blue. It is mesmerizing under the sunlight. All the microshimmers sparkle like tiny stars in the dark. It is also really hard to catch the beauty of these sparkles with the camera.

The consistency of Indigo Night is thicker than Black Jade, another nail polish from Spring 2015 collection.

Application

Here is Indigo Night applied two coats. The polish dries quickly. The finish is nice and quite sophisticated. There was no streaking during application which is definitely a plus for me.  The stay power is around 3-4 days without any chips on edges (but also it depends on my day).

Price

Tom Ford Nail Lacquer is $32 for .41 fl oz/12 ml, which is more than Dior or Chanel nail polishes. Nail polishes if you take good care of them do not go bad as quick as makeup products.

With makeup and skincare products I believe in quality rather than quantity. Here is a famous proverb I like “I’m not rich enough to buy cheap things.” especially if one applies those “things” to the skin – our protector against the environment and our source of beauty.
