You know how red or darker lipsticks or even lip glosses feather around your lips after sometime. To prevent this the solution is to use a good lip primer.
Trish McEvoy Flawless Lip Primer ($27 for 0.09 oz.) comes in a slim and sleek black tube. The packaging is very sturdy. It does not pop open which is great for travel. Looks like a white lip balm. It doesn’t have a strong smell to it.
I use it as a base not only for lipsticks but also for lip glosses and tints.
How to use: Apply all over the lips. If you like a light application apply to the bottom lip and press the lips together. Wait a little bit, couple minutes. When first applied it may feel a little sticky but it goes away. Apply the lipstick or lip gloss and you are done.
Trish McEvoy Flawless Lip primer extended the wear time of lipsticks and lip glosses. Especially with darker lipsticks, it eliminated the need to use a lip pencil to prevent the feathering. It does not dry the lips and provide long lasting color.
