YSL Rouge Volupte #14 Orange Frisson (Orange Shiver) is a strong bright orange with coral/ pink undertones.
The packaging is exquisite. I love the detailled work and representative lipstick color under the ornament. Makes like easier when looking for your lipstick in your bag.
The texture is smooth and creamy. The pigmentation is very intense and opaque. Even one coat of Rouge Volupte is enough for even coverage. Highly recommended.
It is not glossy or shimmery yet the lips looks moisturized with a sheen of color.
The wear time is around 3 hours and needs a touch up.
I love the color. My skin color is medium/light with yellow undertones. I believe this lipstick would look better on skin fair to light or complexions with less yellow undertones. As I said the orange shade has coral like pink undertone.

The formula is paraben free. It has moisturizing and softening ingredients such as beeswax, rice bran oil extract, vegetable oil, Vitamin E and rosemary extract. The lipstick also has SPF 15 to protect the lips from UV.

Such a pretty summer shade. How is the smell? I got one of these and they smell in a way that I want to eat the lipstick ;-p Actually the only thing I don’t like about those are their smell…

The smell is very very subtle, I cannot even smell it. Don’t eat the lipstick. :) Actually did you know women ingest around 2 kg of lipstick during 20 years of use. So good ingredients are important :)
