Armani Luminessence CC Cream #2 and #3: Review and Swatches

Armani has released 8 Luminessence CC creams with Spring 2014 collection (Review CLICK HERE). CC creams are a great alternative if you do not like heavy foundations and if you just want a light color correction.

Armani says “It features a triple technology on skincare for its energizing and antioxidant complex, color for its pinky “rose glow” pigments and light for its liquid mirror technology. Apply once and the skin looks as rested as a good night’s sleep.”

I have been using Armani Luminessence CC Cream #2 and #3 for a while now. And , yes.. I concur with what Armani says. This is an excellent color control and brightening moisturizer. It evens out the color all over and makes pores less visible.

In the package it also has how to apply the CC cream for best finish. Definitely try it, it does make a difference.

Application is smooth and easy.

The coverage is light to medium but no worries. It is buildable. Skin looks even and dewy. It stays on the skin for at least 6-7 hours without changing color. It would be great for dry complexions but for oily/combo skins like mine I need touch ups with a light powder. It stays on the skin for at least 4 hours without powder and more with powder without changing color.  No irritation or breakouts. Yay!

CC Cream has a very light perfume scent which disappears during application.

As you can see #2 is lighter with slight yellow undertone. #3 is darker than #2 with more pink undertone. I am just in between so I have been mixing them together.

Ingredients

It is paraben-free and mineral oil-free. It does have silicones in it. Luminessence CC cream has natural oils like macadamia nut, jojoba, passiflora, apricot kernel and coriander seed oils instead of mineral oil. Natural oils are my favorite. The moringa pterygosperma seed extract and vitamins also to help the skin against aging and environmental stress agents like pollution.

It also has SPF 35 which also another plus for sunny days ahead.

Active ingredients :Octinoxate 5%, Titanium dioxide 1.85%

Rest of the ingredients: Water, dimethicone, glycerin, alcohol denat., isododecane, PEG-10 dimethicone, dipropylene glycol, pentylene glycol, disteardimonium hectorite, betaine, talc, diisostearyl malate, fragrance, tocopheryl acetate, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, phenoxyethanol, adenosine, magnesium sulfate, magnesium aspartate, ethylhexyl hydroxystearate, ethyl menthane carboxamide, silica, dimethiconol, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, limonene, zinc gluconate, linalool, benzyl alcohol, copper glyconate, coriandrum sativum (coriander) fruit oil, moringa pterygosperma seed extract, passiflora edulis seed oil, disodium stearoyl glutamate, methicone, prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, alumina, aluminum hydroxide; may contain: red 28 lake, red 7, iron oxides, bismuth oxychloride, titanium dioxide.
