I subscribed to Birchbox, a different version of Lilakutu ‘in Turkey. The membership is 10$ and between 10-15th of every month you will get a box with goodies. Let’s look at the June of Birchbox, shall we? This month’s theme is Jet-Set. Products in this box were selected to alleviate your jetlag.

First one out of the box is Botanico Eye Compress from Borghese for one time use only. It is for tired eyes. The original pacage has 60 of these pads and the cost is 51$. I may prefer tea bags at this price. Tried it and not impressed. I know jet-lag/jet-setting. Flying over the ocean all my life provided me with sufficient experience. The items in this box are definitely jet-set/lag material. OK, moving on to our other products.
The blue bottle is Scalisi Skincare-Anti-aging Moisturizer SPF30: It aims to enhance the prodution of collagen during daily use as a moisturizer. Price of the original product: 110$. I tried this one as well, I am not that impressed to buy this product. TheBalm Cosmetics Staniac in Beauty Queen (the little red tube). It has a weird and dry sensation on the lips with a bitter even chemical taste. The color is a red with a bluish tint. Not my favorite. Price: 17 USD. The black tube below is Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint with a price of 38$ for the full sized item. As you can see it is tiny, and there was only enough for one time try.
I think this is a joke as a Welcome to your first Birchbox. A designer Band-aid from Cynthia Rowley? Come on! Well dear Birchbox next time could we have Betadine from Dolce & Gabbana please? My first-aid kit definitely needs some pizzaz!
There was a sample of Star USA from John Varvatos for Father’s day.
As far as I could see from other blogs , everybody got a different box with different items. Some boxes even had full sized original items such as Stila One Step Bronze. It was not in my box. I did not like my first box but I will continue for 2 more months. Our adventures continue! :)
