The Spring 2017 additions to Chanel Le Vernis range are beautiful. Out of the 4 shades: Tulle (peachy shade)-Limited Edition, Androgyne (a deep matte purple), Washed Denim and Emblematique, I selected 2: Washed Denim and Emblematique (US $28.00 each).
The new formula of Le Vernis features Bioceramides and Ceramides to improve the nail health and strength. Le Vernis is 5-free.
566 WASHED DENIM
Washed Denim is a creamy muted grey with very subtle blue undertones in it. The creme jelly texture dries quickly. 2 coat application is more than enough for an opaque finish. The color is long wearing without any chipping for at least 5 days. I like using a top coat on all my polishes.
Removal is easy and does not stain the nails. The best way to see its color is by closeups. Here they are:

572 EMBLÉMATIQUE
Dark oxblood color with blue undertones yet a warm shade of blood red. The creme jelly is beautiful and opaque with 2 coats. Applies like a dream and does not stain the nails. Although it is a very dark red, it is quite easy to remove. Looks beautiful even on short nails.
I smeared it on a piece of paper so you can see the intensity of the shade.

Although Emblematique is not a novel color, it is beautiful on application and does not chip. Washed Denim is a very unique color and one of my favorites!

I couldn’t resist Tulle, so I got it a week ago and I’m now loving it on my nails. Chanel nail varnish is just so good..!

Oh it is. Another favorite formula of mine is Tom Ford nail polish. Love it.
