Chanel Fall 2013 Superstition Collection continues. You can read about other pieces of collection : Chanel Khaki Précieux Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner (#104) and Chanel Mystère Les 4 Ombres Eye Shadow.

Chanel Gri-Gri (101) Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow is a limited edition.

Chanel Gri-Gri  is defined as a metallic taupe. When applied, the shade is sheer to medium strength with lots of shimmer. The taupe color has a very light grey  with gold to mauve undertones. Beautiful shimmers. To me it is a joker color. Just by itself it is easily used during day or night. Finish is exqusite.

The texture is soft and finely milled. Dream to apply. I do not use the sponge applicator but prefer to use a small and tightly packed brush for application. The eyeshadow can be used dry and wet. With the primer the lasting power was upto 10 hours without any creasing or fading.

Chanel Gri Gri ‘s comparision with Burberry Pale Barley  eyeshadow and  Chanel Mystère Les 4 Ombres Eye Shadow.:

Top left picture is under sunlight and the one on the right is inside. Pare Barley has a more golden tone to it. Gri Gri is definitely has more pink/mauve undertones with more shimmer. There are no colors similar in Mystere palette. So if you love mauve/taupe shades, Gri Gri is a must have.
