The lovely Daydream #174 is from the Chanel Collection Révélation Lèvres Scintillantes Glossimer for Spring/Summer 2013. I wanted to get an orange toned ( yes, my search for the perfect coral/orange continues!) lip gloss, yet Daydream stole my heart.
Daydream has a rich and exquisite color. Although Chanel described the color as metallic fuchsia, it has a delicate and complex shade of between pinkish red and fuchsia without the dominant purple undertones. The pigmentation is beautiful.
It has strong metallic shimmer, which I love.
The application is smooth and provides just the right dose of glossimer. The cover is semi-opaque and glossy. There is no fragrance. The gloss is not sticky and the wear time is around 4-5 hours. This creamy glossimer stays on your lips after application and does not run.
Ingredients
There is only one paraben (propylparaben) in the formula. If you’re not a fan of parabens, then this may not be for you.
There is Caesalpinia Sappan Bark Extract, which is an extract from the bark of the Sappan Wood. It has skin conditioning properties. Vitamin E has been used for antioxidant effect.
You can find the collection at Chanel or Nordstrom. Price: 29.50$

I really love this color, I got the crushed cherry and found it to be a bit dark for summer time, wish I got daydream instead… Do you think the consistency of those are a bit thicker than the ones which were previously released?
Author
I agree the consistency is less runny compared to older versions and it stays put for a longer time. :))
I have been loving the glossimers these days .
But alas !All the ones I Iove are LE
do you have jalousie ? is it similar to day dream ?

I don’t have that one :(. Lip glosses are easy to use and flexible.Use it with lipstick or by itself you will get different finishes/looks :)) XOXO
Simli glossları pek sevmiyorum ama bunun rengi çok güzelmiş canım güle güle kullan:)

Cok tesekkurler canim. Cok sim yuklu degil aslinda tam kararinda :)
I really prefer this type of deep/vibrant/shocking color over Chanel’s subtle glossimiers. I feel like I get better pigmentation, wear time but also they showcase the shimmer beautifully. Great choice!!! Btw, have your tried Riviera by Hourglass? It’s a beloved orange by many. I haven’t tried it but I like the formula.
Author
I totally agree with you! Thank you! Yes I tried Riviera on a swatch will be reviewing that one soon. :))
Oh I love your pictures, makes me go and purchase this one! :-)) I don’t have this one but other shades which were released together with this one were a bit thick and sticky on my lips. How is this one?

Thanks :) It is a lovely shade indeed. U r right about the texture though but I think it is worth it. :)
