Rouge Allure Fougueuse is from the Chanel Notes de Printemps Collection.
Fougueuese is defined as “bright pink” by Chanel. The lipstick has a bright pink shade yet it has a subtle blue cool undertone to it. The brightness of pink took over the blue undertone on my lips and looked more like a very brightened shade.
The formula and texture of Rouge Allure lipsticks are meant to be hydrating with full coverage and long wear time. The coverage of Fougueuse was semi opaque, without the full coverage. Yet the lipstick was very hydrating.
The application was smooth without dragging on the lips. The lipstick also applies evenly without skipping over the lips. Although it was defined as long wearing, Fougueuse only lasted around 3-4 hours on my lips. It was hydrating and did not dry my lips during the wear.
I liked the color but it was too bright for my complexion. It would be great on people with pink undertones, fair skin or less yellow undertones in their complexion. Here is a swatch under the sunlight.

This one is so pretty but I passed since it’s a little too bright for me. I have yet to get a Chanel lippie. The last I bought was ages ago.
