Chantecaille Lip Definer in color Shade is a versatile color with brown undertones of a matte soft brick red. It does not have shimmer but this one is one of my favorite lip pencils.
The pencil glides over the lips and does not tug, scratch or hurt the sensitive lip area. The texture is creamy and soft. Not too soft to break during application.
As a lip pencil you can use it to contour the lips. It does not feather around the lips. You can also use the lip pencil like a base all over the lips and apply gloss over it. Even with gloss on the lip pencil lasted for several hours during this time lots of coffee was consumed :). It did not budge of loose color. Highly recommended.

Pencil does not have a scent. It is paraben-free. Formula is waterproof and has botanicals and anti-oxidant Vitamin E.
