Chantecaille bu sonbahar yepyeni bir far paleti ile geldi. Daha kimse görmeden üzerinde fil motifleri olan bu dörtlü far takımı ile satışa çıkmadan tanışma şansı buldum. Uluslararası resmi lansman tarihi Eylül 2012 ve bu ay itibariyle ABD’de satışa çıktı. (chantecaille.com).
Filler sevgili gezegenimizin halen soyu tükenmemiş, fakat bilinçsiz ve yasadışı avlamadan dolayı hızla sayıları azalan, karada yasayan en büyük memeli hayvanları. Bu devasa fakat bir o kadar yumuşak huylu ve zarif hayvanlar, güç, zeka ve bilgeligi sembolize etmiş hikayelerde. Bu hayvanlara yaşama hakkı tanımak ve yardımcı olmak amacıyla Chantecaille, Sonbahar 2012 sezonu için hazırladığı Elephant (Fil) paletinden elde edilen gelirin %5’i Kenya’da soyları tükenmekte olan ve yaşama alanları tehdit edilen öksuz fillerin kurtarılması için 1977’den beri büyük emek sarfeden David Sheldrick Vahşihayat Vakıfina (The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust) bağışlıyor.
Bu bağışın yanında, her paletin arkasında iPhone veya benzeri telefon ile okutulabilecek bir QR kodu bulunuyor. Bu QR kodunu scanlediğinizde sizi Sheldrick Vashihayat Vakfının interaktif websitesine yönlendiriyor ve burada öksuz kalmış bir fili evlat edinebiliyorsunuz!
Yeni bir anne (veya baba) olarak yavru filinizin detaylı hikayesini, resmini ve fil ebeveyni olduğunuza dair sertifikanız gönderiliyor. İsterseniz bebek filinizin aylık resimleride geliyor. Kilometreler ötesinden bile bir bebek filin büyümesine ve dünyayı güzelleştirmesine siz de yardımcı oluyorsunuz.

Chantecaille has another unique eye shadow palette with elephants (chantecaille.com). It is limited edition for Fall 2012!
Palette has 4 colors: Ivory a pearly creamy light beige reminding the beautiful tusks of elephants. Grasslands is a lush dark green with hints of olive and shimmer. I particularly loved these 2 colors at the top. Red Earth is strong copper with deep shimmer. Iron Ore is deep charcoal gray with flecks of gold. You can use this one as a liner or just as a shadow. I loved the colors. If you have oily eyelids with creasing problem then I would suggest using a primer. The colors are light, delicate and shimmery. It is very easy to build up and use it at night.

Elephants are one of the endangered species. They are the biggest mamalians curently living on land and they will face extinction in 10 years. To help these gentle creatures, 5% of the profits from L’elephant Eye Shadow Palette is donated to The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust , which is working to save orphaned elephants since 1977.
In addition to this donation, there is a QR code at the back of the palette’s box. If you scan the code with your smart phone, it will take you to the interactive website of The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust , where you can adopt a baby orphan elephant. They will send you all the info about the elephant and a lovely certificate about your adoption. So from thousands of miles away you help a baby elephant to live.
