Dior Diorshow Mono Eyeshadow Mordoré #653 was released as exclusive to Nordstrom with Fall 2013 Collection. The shade is available everywhere now.
The Diorshow Mono compact comes with a mirror and 2 sponge applicators in a black velvet pouch. Dior logo embossed on the shadow gives a elegant touch to the compact.
Mordoré is a luxurious warm metallic bronze. The shade has warm golden/copper notes with a subtle hint of pink and coppery green shimmers. At least that is how it looks on my skin.
Mordoré is rich in shimmer/pigmentation. Texture is smooth and feels creamy. It can be used both wet and dry. Dry application is silky. Wet application gives a more robust and vibrant copper/golden color on the lids.
Swatches
I couldn’t get the perfect picture under the sunlight. These pictures were taken in the shade.

Application
Mordoré can be used alone paired with black eye pencil or eyeliner. It can be also paired with red or a lighter/ silver toned gold eye shadow as well for a warm fall look. The eyeshadow goes well with greens and blues also. if you like a deeper shade, dampen the sponge or the brush and apply the shadow.
Ingredients
The formula is paraben and mineral oil free. The shadow lasts at least 8 hours with primer. PAO is 6 months.
Price: $29, Nordstrom

Oh, such a lovely shade. It looks a bit like one of my Armani ETKs from last fall, guessing #26. How is the staying power?
Author
It definitely does look like the Armani one. Staying power is quite good. :) XO
