I was hesitant getting Sisley in Ruby given the price ($57 for 0.04 oz/1.2g). Yes, it is much more expensive than the other lip pencils but I needed that perfect red.
The Sisley Ruby has the balanced red. The texture is creamy, soft and lasts a long time at least for 6 hours. It does not bleed into lip creases and keeps the lipstick/lip gloss completely in place. Although the texture is soft, the application is gentle without being mushy. It applies perfectly defining the lip contour beautifully.
It also has a brush on the other end. You can use this lipliner like a lipstain as well.
Ingredients
It has Sunflower oil, Kokum butter, Jojoba oil, Squalene, Saflower oils for hydration and softness. Waxes in the formula help for the long lasting color on the lips. It has a derivative of silicone ( stearyl dimethicone) for easy application. No mineral oil or parabens.
