Today our guest is Burberry Light Blow No. 08 Misty Blush. I couldn’t decide between Peony and Misty and asked dearest Ms. Wendy Rowe (Please check out her website. It is amazing). She was so nice and have me an idea about both blushes and I ended up getting Misty. I reviewed No. 02 Earthy blush before (CLICK HERE). Earthy is great for contouring and even in the crease for definition.I am not a big fan of blushes especially when it it used like war paint. 
The blush should give a natural color and enlighten the face.
The blushes are made in Italy. The packaging is dark grey metallic color and has the famous Burberry check pattern. It comes in a little velvet pouch which also has the check pattern. With the blush comes a slightly angled blush brush. I think it would be more useful as a contouring brush. The brush is high quality.
The blush is embossed with the check Burberry design. Burberry makes you definitely feel that you are using a Burberry! The texture is silk-like, soft and powdery but definitely not chalky. It is very finely milled. Has a very light scent. Application is a dream, smooth, blends great with no fall out.
The color pigment distribution is even and very well formulated. Color of the blush looks a little lighter in the pan. It is slightly darker on your skin and blends very well with the skin tone. Misty is a very light blue toned pink blush. It is ideal for medium skin like mine.
I alsways use a primer and foundation before I use the blush or powders. I used MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush to apply the products on my cheeks very lightly with circular motion for a healthy glow.
For contouring I used Burberry Light Glow 02 Earthy Blush and follow it with a setting powder. The blush lasted at leat 7 hours on my oily/combo skin.
Info for oily skin: Foundation, blush or similar products could darken during the day due to oil production. So keep that in mind and test before you make an investment.
Ingredients:
Talc and zea mays (corn starch) are at the highest level in the ingredient list. The high cornstarch content could be the reason why I did not break out. You will see parabens in the ingredient list. If you are looking for a paraben free blush, this may not be for you. There are also vegetal extracts of Ginkgo biloba and Rosa canina to support the skin.
