Giorgio Armani Beauty has released a new liquid cream eye shadows: Eye Tints. There are 12 different shades and come in a tube with a wand. They are shimmery, luxurious and elegant.
Shades and Comparisons
I have received 4 shades : Émeraude, Shadow, Onyx and Cold Copper. They are all breath taking.
Cold Copper: Shimmery beautiful gold toned light copper. On my skin it shows more shimmer than color. The shimmer is quite strong.
Onyx: Olive green shade with lots of shimmer. On my complexion it leans more towards a greyish olive green. Little more sheer than I expected.
Shadow: Perfect greyish purple with silver shimmer. I am not really fond of purple shades yet Shadow looks beautiful. Greyish silver with exquisite purple without making my eyes looking tired.
Émeraude: Bluish emerald with golden green shimmer. Divine!
They have a tilted application wand.
Tom Ford Platinum Cream Color (Review) is a tad more grey and cooler toned than Cold Copper.
When blended you can see the sheerness of the shadows. Armani Eye Tints are not as strong as regular eye shadows. I think Tom Ford Cream Color is stronger than Eye Tints.
Application is easy but you have to be really quick to blend and layer on the lid. They are liquid but they dry fast to a powdery finish. I tried with its own wand, finger tips and a brush. Finger tips and brush are the best application for blending Eye Tints. They last for at least 12 hours. I would still recommend an eye primer to reflect the optimum color. The coverage is light to medium. If you act quick (they dry fast), they are buildable.
Ingredients
No parabens and mineral oil but has propylene glycol. This is a pure pigment liquid eye shadow. They are made in France. The PAO is 6 months.

Hmm I really don’t know what to think of these for the moment! On the one hand, the shimmer seems beautiful and complex and the shades are well-done. On another, the formula seems a little tricky to work with! I’ll have to swatch them at some point and see if I want to take one home. Thanks for the stunning photos and review!

Yet another tempting review of these eye tints! ^_^ If I hear it one more time, I’ll take the plunge! LOL Shadow would be first on my list, though, if I decided to buy it! :)
