Dune

My favorite ( and I have many favorites) but this one cheers me up when I miss the beach and smell of the sea. It was first produced in 1991 by Christian Dior. The nose for Dune is Jean-Louis Sieuzac.  Veronique Monod designed the bottle . Basenotes of the perfume open up with bergamot, mandarin, palisander, aldehyde, peony. The middle note has rose, jasmine, ylang yang, wallflowerm lily and lichen. The basenote carresses the top and middle notes with vanilla, patchouli, benzoin, sandalwood, amber musk and oakmoss.

Grade: A++ and yes I will have one right now!

Dune

Coco Mademoiselle Parfum

Jacques Polge created this perfume in 2001 The top notes include  Sicilian oranges and grapefruits, bergamot. The middle note has pure rose and jasmine extract wrapped with fruity litchi. The basenote is an exquisite harmony of patchouli, bourbon vanilla, Haitian vetiver and white musk. Elegant, sexy, strong and young at heart.

Grade: A++

Hermes, Concentre Eau D`Orange Verte

I reviewed Hermes, Eau D`Orange Verte here.  Concentre is much more concentrated compared to Eau D`Orange Verte. A must have for perfume connoisseurs, who love fresh, sparkly energetic citrus scents.

Boyfriend

A prefume from Kate Walsh. (reviewed here). Although it is beautiful given the list above I don’t think this would be in my must buy list right now.

Which perfumes are your favorite and which ones did you finish until now?

    YES to Coco Mademoiselle. Dare I say, even better than the classic Coco Chanel.
