Kryolan Brush-on Concealer 06: Dark Eye Circles Gone!

Kryolan  Brush-on Color Corrector #06 concealer  looks like YSL Touche Eclat (CLICK HERE). It has a pen style applicator with nylon brush.  To dispense the right amount of the product all you have to do is rotate the end of the pen applicator.

The concealer’s texture is light liquid and blends quite easily into the skin. Being liquid also provides the advantage of not setting into fine lines or creases. It not quite creamy. So if you have dry skin, I would recommend first applying a moisturizer around the eye area and then apply the color concealer. It is quite durable and does not fade away.

One of the problems under the eye area is dark circles. The major reason for darkness around eye area is due to the purple/ blue color coming from under the delicate thin skin. The blue/purple tinge is due to thin blood vessels and capillaries. Dark circles are usually hereditary but other daily factors (i.e. not sleeping enough, smoking etc.) can contribute or lead to darkness as well.

Kryolan color correctors are used to neutralize any colored undertone in the skin. The #06 Color Corrector Concealer has a bright orange color. It is quite bright. I was surprised when I first saw it but it does wonders for dark circles.

Orange Color Corrector neutralizes the  blue/ purple color of the dark circles under the eye. Just like that.

It is highly pigmented and has full coverage. A tiny dab is enough for full effect.

Application

Start with a tiny amount. One click of the pen is enough to cover under both eyes. It dries very quickly so move really quickly to blend it.  It is very durable and lasts for 8-9 hours. You need a makeup remover to remove it. No allergies, no itching.
