Today our guest is Kryolan Supracolor Greasepaint 1001. It is an interesting choice for a name “greasepaint” but who am I to judge. Kryolan produces alot of stage makeup products. You can make stage effect makeup or everyday finish.
I used Kryolan Supracolor Greasepaint 1001 2W color as a concealer. It is very pigmented and thick in consistency. It covers everything. The creamy texture need a little warm up on finger tips before application. If you like you can use a brush for application as well.
Ingredients
It is paraben free but has proylene glycol, paraffin and petrolatum all petroleum-derived ingredients.
Supracolor Greasepaint is more suitable for dry or normal skins. Here is why. I have oily /combo skin and skins like mine tend to produce more sebum hence more oil on our faces. When we use makeup products high in oil ( i.e. mineral oil) in combination with our sebum, the product does not last long on our face. It creases or gets into fine wrinkles etc. Not pleasant actually. So that is what happened with this concealer under my eyes. So sadly, it is not one of my favorite products.
On the other hand, mineral oil in this product will provide ease in application on drier skins.
