TOM FORD CREAM COLOR FOR EYES-BURNISHED COPPER, OPALE, SIREN BLUE-REVIEWS, SWATCHES, PHOTOS

Tom Ford released another beautiful set of Cream Color for eyes with Spring 2016 collection. They are limited edition.  There are 8 different colors but in this post I will review Burnished Copper, Opale and Siren Blue ($45.00 for 0.17 oz.). First of all, the glass jars are smaller than the previous cream colors. The older version of Tom Ford Cream Colors were $42 for 0.21 oz and the new ones are $45.00 for 0.17 oz.

Although the formula is the same, with different colors the lasting power changes. Interesting yet not unexpected since with different shades, different combination of coloring ingredients are used. This difference can result in various changes in the performance of eye shadows.

Burnished Copper

Lovely smoky dark olive green with metallic gold frost. Lovely golden microshimmers provides depth. Very very pigmented and a tiny bit is more than enough.

It does not feel as wet as Siren blue. This one is easily blendable and dries down fast enough without any creasing. Long lasting power up to 8 hours. A+

Siren Blue

Metallic light silvery aqua blue. The shade was nice but this one disappointed me. It was very creamy with a more wet feeling but the dry down was very slow with major creasing on me. Then again, I have oily skin maybe that contributes but Siren Blue was my least favorite of all 3.

Sadly, this one is a D.

Opale

Beautiful shimmery light creamy peach with beige undertones. Pigmentation is good but on my yellow undertoned skin it lost its color with only shimmer left. Application is easy and does not crease.

I would use this as a base but not a defining shade. B

Ingredients

Cream Color for Eyes do not have any parabens or mineral oil. The formula has silicones that gives the bounciness and smoothness to them.

Overall, of these 3 my favorite is Burnished Copper with its texture, stay power and color. Which one is your favorite?
