Tom Ford Golden Mink Eye Color Quad: Review, Ingredients, Swatches, Comparisons and Pictures

Tom Ford Golden Mink (01) Eye Color Quad is perfect if you love nude with golden tones. The quad has the famous Tom Ford adult glitters.  This quad is especially nice on tanned complexions. Like other Tom Ford Quads it comes with brown velvet pouch and in its elegant espresso brown and golden packaging. It has 2 pairs of applicators which is different than other brands that only provide one applicator. The brush is made of white goat hair. So soft.

Shade 1 (Top left): Warm toned light golden shimmer. Both shade 1 and 2 do not fall out. The best application for Tom Ford shimmers is to press the finger tip gently on the shade and then gently tap over the eye lid.

Shade 2 (top right): Warm peach shimmer with very delicate copper undertone.

Shade 3 (Bottom left): Satin beige shadow with light silver toned peach notes. Interestingly, Shade 3 and 4 lean more towards warm gold tones on my skin.

Cocoa Mirage vs Golden Mink

Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage Quad is one of the quads with least amount of shimmer/glitter yet I love it for daily use. Easy peasy no fuss and beautiful finish. Cocoa Mirage review coming soon. Here are the comparison swatches of Cocoa Mirage and Golden Mink.

Ingredients:

No parabens or mineral oil. It has corn starch that will absorb the excess oil form the lids. Also has shea butter unsaponifiables (a natural anti-irritant) and soybean glycerides (anti-oxidant). The formula is soft, pigmented and does not crease even without a primer. They last at least 8 -10 hours without losing their colors or falling out. Impressive.

Excellent review and great shots. I do not care for glitter but Mr. Ford’s glitter is completely different than the rest. I love the quads they are such a good deal.
