Tom Ford Pink Glow Eye & Cheek Compact

Last year, 2014 Summer collection came with Unabashed Eye & Cheek Compact with neutral shades and a very pigmented cobalt blue (reviewed).

Pink Glow Eye & Cheek Compact comes as a white and gold case in a white velvety pouch. I am glad they switched to white pouch with white casing. Unabashed also has a white casing but a brown pouch, which in time stained the white packaging and does not come off.

Pink Glow as the name states has different shades of pinks leaning towards red undertones. The palette has warm and strong colors as well as the famous Tom Ford adult glitter. All the shadows have a creamy powdery consistency with no fall out. The pigmentation is strong.

Shade 1: A beautiful, delicate warm light cream with frosted shimmer. Pigmentation is good with a silky consistency and no fall out. Can be used as a highlighter or even on the brow bone.

Shade 2: The famous Tom Ford adult glitter. Sparkling champagne golden beige shimmer with warm undertones. Application is quite easy with minimum fall out.  Coverage is medium then again this is a glitter.

Shade 3: Warm red undertoned plum pink with shimmer. Frosty finish is excellent as an eye shadow. No fallout, great color payoff, blends beautifully and lasts forever.  On my skin it leans more towards a coppery red than a plum-red

Shade 4: Medium dark plum with pink warm undertones. This one has less frost than rest of them. Can be used as a blush. Application is easy , lasts at least 8 hours as a blush. It can be also used as an eye shadow. Quite versatile. My skin pulls out more red with this shade.

Shade 5: Warm peach with red undertones and subtle golden sheen. Very smooth and easy to apply. No fall out lasts around 8 hours. Blends beautifully with other shades in the palette.

Comparison with Tom Ford In the Pink (reviewed) & Pink Glow:

The first 3 colors on the left shows the shades from In the Pink. In the Pink has less red/pink undertones compared to Pink Glow. It is more on the yellow/peach side.

Comparison of In the Pink-Pink Glow-Unabashed

Unabashed is completely different than Pink Glow with its neutral shades and strong blue.

Unfortunately, my skin is not compatible with eye shadows or blushes that has too much red. If your skin has pink undertones and less yellow undertones, Pink Glow would look just lovely on you.
