Tom Ford: She Wolf Ombré Eye Color Trio Review, Ingredients, Swatches

Tom Ford released She Wolf as limited edition (key word being limited and at the end of this article get yours while you can) for the Fall 2013 Collection. Of the two palettes of Fall 2013 collection In the Pink (For the review please CLICK HERE) and She Wolf. She Wolf is my favorite and it should be permanent.

Tom Ford She Wolf eye shadow palette is composed of 3 fantastic cool grays with brown and green undertones.

The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly. It comes with a mirror and a dual sided applicator with sponge on one end and a brush on the other end. The brush is made of the same material (goat) that all Tom Ford brushes are made of. The eyeshadow compact comes in a brown velvet pouch.

Left Shade: How I love this shade. A cool toned dark brown eye shadow with gray and a very light hint of green undertones. It has a matte finish. Pigmentation is just beautiful. Texture is silky soft and very very finely milled.

Middle Shade: You can use it alone or in combo with the dark brown shade. Elegant lighter brown with beige to gray undertones. In the pan it looks like a very light green gray tint to it. On my skin it has a very delicate and light warm orange brown. This one has shimmer. No fall out, strong color payoff and texture is like buttah! :)   Love love love….

Right Shade: Oh yes! The famous grown-up, sexy, cult status Tom Ford sparkles. A girl can never get enough of sparkles. The shade looks and feels creamy in the pan. It is an exquisite shimmery light brown with silver and golden undertones.

I would definitely recommend you to use your fingers and avoid the brush while applying this beauty. Pat your finger on the shadow and then on your lids. If you apply it with brush, you may get some fall out. Finger-pat method will result in minimum fall out and controlled application of the shade.

Application

Shade #2: Applied all over the lid up over Tom Ford Eye Primer (for review CLICK HERE). I also used it with Nars and Urban Decay eye primers and worked nicely.

Shade #1: Applied the middle shade starting from the middle of the lid towards the outer corner and applying some more to the crease. Just lovely.

Shade #3: Padded the right glitter shade with my finger into the inner corner of the eye and the middle of the lid. The sparkles in this shade brings a lot of light and pizzaz to the eyes making them look lively and energetic.  Finish the look with Tom Ford  Eye Defining Pen, Tom Ford black eye pencil in Onyx and Tom Ford Ultra Length Mascara in Raven. The end result is just to die for. Sultry, smoky eyes. Shades lasted for 10-12 hours without creasing.

Ingredients

No parabens or mineral oil. It has corn starch that will absorb the excess oil form the lids. Also has shea butter unsaponifiables (a natural anti-irritant) and soybean glycerides (anti-oxidant). The formula is soft, pigmented and does not crease even without a primer.
