When I saw this fragrance at Sephora, I said to myself “not another celebrity fragrance please!”. There are tons of them out there with nothing original. This time I was gladly wrong. The lovely actress Kate Walsh put a lot of love and thought into this perfume. It is a masterpiece. It is your “Boyfriend”. ☺

So how do you remember your “Boyfriend”? Warm, nice, cozy, sexy or animalic?
The Boyfriend perfume has top notes of dark plum and myrrh, middle notes of night blooming jasmine and benzoin tears, bottom notes of sweet vanilla woods, skin musk, and deep golden amber.
When I first sniffed the bottle, it smelled more amber like. But when it hit my skin it changed and bloomed to something sultry, nostalgic, elegant. First warm and comforting smell of vanilla woods comes out. Amber is delicately intertwined with vanilla. The amber mixed with skin musk and vanilla has a slight masculine tone yet very cozy and woodsy smell. It is relaxing, romantic and seductive. The dark plum, myrrh are very well balanced with the white floral tones of jasmine. Benzoin adds a subtle spicy smoky edge to the middle notes.
Staying power is medium but I don’t mind refreshing it once in a while.
Verdict
It is not another generic old celebrity fragrance. It is classy, elegant, sultry, feminine and sexy. Definitely a must have.

Sitelerine hemen baktım:) aslında fiyat da çok uygun ama şöyle bir sorun var. Gümrüğün kozmetik, parfüm yasağı var bildiğim kadarıyla. Ama neye ne kadar sınır koymuş; bu konuda bilgim yok. Keşke getirtebilsek. Mesela çoğu cilt bakım ürünleri yurtdışındaki sitelerde çok çok uygun ama korkumdan getirtemiyorum. Sizin ya da bu yazıyı okuyacak olanların bir bilgisi var mı bu konuda?
