Urban Decay Single EyeShadows: Foxy, Blackout, Mildew, YDK, Woodstock, Desperation, Flash – Swatches & Pictures

Oh yes I love testers. They are really helpful if you are trying to decide which shade you want and how it is going to look like on your skin. Urban Decay sent these testers and I decided to review them right away.  Good idea Urban Decay! Hope other makeup brands will be inspired.

Foxy, Blackout, Mildew, YDK, Woodstock, Desperation, Flash are the eyeshadows that came. On these cards there is enough eyeshadow for 2 trials maybe even one more time. This enables you to see if it works on your skin tone or lasts on your eyelids.

Here are the shades:

Foxy: Could be used as a base but it disappeared on my skin. Creamy nude shade.

Blackout: More on the matte side a satin black. Ideal for dark smoky eyes.

Woodstock: A happy fuchsia pink with lots of shimmer and purple undertones.

Mildew: Now this is one of my favorites. Greenish shade with golden grey undertones. It would look great with brown eyes.

YDK: Pink gold frosty beige shade. Lovely!

Desperation: This one has an interesting personality. The shade changes under the light. Frosty cool grey with lovely shimmer.

Flash: If you love lilac and purples this is your color. Lots of shimmer. Not for the faint of heart.

Shades were swatched under the sunlight. 2 layers each. As you can see the pigmentation is strong except Foxy. Foxy can be used as a base/canvas color on the eyelids.

Ingredients

Ingredients are very basic. No parabens, mineral oil or silicones. No natural or nature-derived ingredients as well.  Formula are composed of mostly talc, pigments and preservative. There is some fall out possibly due to no silicones. Application is easy. Stay power is good with Urban Decay primer.

Talc, Zinc Stearate, Silica, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Boron Nitride, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid.

DESPERATION:
Talc, Caprylic/Capric Trigyleride, PTFE, Zinc Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sorbic Acid, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer.

FLASH:
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Talc, Zinc Stearate, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, PTFE, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid.
May Contain:
CI 77019 (Mica), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77742 (Manganese Violet), CI 75470 (Carmine), CI 77510 (Ferric Ferrocyanide), CI 77007 (Ultramarines).

FOXY:

MILDEW:
