How does Venus Legacy work?

Radiofrequency and ultrasound have been around for sometime in aesthetic dermatology. Venus Legacy is an upgraded version of Venus Freeze. Venus Legacy is different than the previous technologies in aesthetic dermatology that uses radiofrequency and ultrasound. Venus Legacy is a non-invasive safe treatment for cellulite and loose skin on the face, neck and body. It uses energy of radio wave frequency to heat the skin to contract and firm the treated skin. In combination with radio wave heat, magnets generate a magnetic pulsed field, which induces the production of new collagen and elastic for long-term results. Furthermore, the treatment firms the skin by contracting the existing collagen resulting in younger looking skin. The handpiece that applies the heat and magnetic pulse possesses a suction action. The suction improves the lymphatic drainage and also induces physical stress to the fat cells for fat reduction. The partially sucked skin interacts with more probes in the hand piece which delivers more heat deeply in to the target area. The massage, frequency, suction and heat help to destroy the fat cells in the area.  This combination with the heat induced the natural healing response and self repair mechanism of the body.

My experience with Venus Legacy

Lovely Melissa Federico from Spa Sydell applied Venus Legacy to my chin and jowl area.

Before the treatment she cleaned the area of makeup and applied a thick glycerin ointment. Glycerin ointment protects the skin from the direct effect of the heat and also helps the applicator to move smoothly without bruising the skin. The procedure is very pleasant. It feels like a soothing face massage with hot stones. The suction is actually quite relaxing like a soft lymphatic drainage massage.

There is no pain or discomfort during the procedure. You can actually sleep during Venus Legacy treatment. The whole procedure took around 20 minutes. I was a little red in the jaw/chin area but it only last like 30 minutes. There was no burning even after the heat.

The next day, even with one treatment result was impressive. My chin and jawline was tighter and skin looked more elastic and felt smoother.

Summary:

Venus Legacy works! I am happy with the skin tightening around my jawline even with 1 treatment. The recommended session number for absolute results varies from skin type and needs, but it is between 6 to 8 sessions.

Great for facial contouring, getting rid of fat and contouring of the face and neck.

No injectables, no pain before or after.
